(IS) Easter creation in Iceland

The oldest kids in Vik decided to make a Easter -bird mede of yarn. They could choose from some colours but most of them choosed yellow, white and brown yarn.

First step was drawing two circels with a gap in the middel. Then the kids had to use a needle to fill the circel thigt around, swifting colours as they wanted to.

When the circel was full and ready, the theachers cut between the circles and put a thread between them and fasten them together.

Then they had to use a scissor to even the yarn and form the bird. Then the kids glued eyes and nose on the bird's face and made feet also to make the Easter-bird beutyful.

As you can see the outcome was really beatyful and the kids was very happy with their work.

Happy Easter to all of you, dear Comenius-friends.
